Bolinas- This private town on the Southern tip of Point Reyes National Seashore and north of Stinson Beach offers a great artists community with many art showing throughout the year.  You may also visit www.surfbolinas.com for information on surf lessons, rates and equipment rental to get you ready to rides the waves in Stinson and Bolinas.  Note- this is a very close knit community so please respect their privacy and leave the area as you found it.

Pt. Reyes National Seashore- This nationally protected seashore has many sites and activities to offer a day traveler.  The area is comprised of over 100 square miles of coastal wilderness.  They offer hiking, biking, horseback riding, nature viewing and whale watching to list a few of your options.  Please visit the official website at www.nps.gov/pore/
